    First joint meeting of the president of the Supreme Court of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the presidents of the cantonal courts

    On 15th April 2026, the first joint meeting of the president of the Supreme Court of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the presidents of the cantonal courts in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in the premises of the Supreme Court of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    Among other things, the topic of the meeting was the identification of the greatest challenges in court management. All court presidents had the opportunity to present their challenges in management, and in further work, an attempt was made to find unique measures and methods that would improve the work and thereby increase the overall efficiency of the courts.

    Also, the need to adopt unique by-laws in the implementation of the new Law on Protection of Personal Data was pointed out, experiences were presented in the implementation of Article 20 of the Criteria for the Evaluation of the Work of Judges in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the need to establish a system of equal treatment in the reporting procedure to the Supreme Court of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by cantonal courts was pointed out.

    The participants of the meeting agreed that holding these meetings contributes to the improvement of court management, and emphasized the need to hold more thematic meetings during the calendar year.
